This is a peptide consultation, not general medical care. Knowing that up front is the difference between a visit worth booking and one that leaves you frustrated.

Lab work
We do not order labs, run labs, or interpret lab results from another doctor. Bring what your own provider has already told you.
Ongoing conditions
Thyroid, hormone replacement, blood pressure, mental health, and similar care stay with the doctor who manages them. We do not take that over or adjust those medications.
Primary care
This visit does not replace your primary care doctor or any specialist you see, and it is not a second opinion on their treatment plan.

How much does a peptide doctor consultation cost?
A consultation costs $149.99 for a private 30-minute video visit with Dr. Jonathan Snipes, MD. Payment is collected when you book. The price includes the $39 prescription fee that normally applies to a script order, so a protocol prescribed from your consult carries no separate visit fee.
What does the consultation include?
Dedicated time with a licensed physician to build a peptide protocol around your goals. That covers which peptides fit and which do not, dosing and timing, a check of your current medications and supplements for interactions, and a prescription when clinically appropriate. Your written protocol is emailed to you afterward. The $39 prescription fee is included.
What is not covered in the consultation?
This is a peptide consultation, not general medical care. Dr. Snipes does not order lab work, interpret labs from another doctor, or manage ongoing conditions such as thyroid, hormone replacement, blood pressure, or mental health. Those stay with the provider who handles them today. The visit does not replace your primary care doctor and is not a second opinion on a treatment plan from another doctor.
Can Dr. Snipes order or review my lab work?
No. We are not set up to order labs, and we do not interpret results run elsewhere. If your goals depend on lab values, get those from your primary care doctor or a specialist first. Dr. Snipes will factor in what you already know, and he will tell you when a peptide is not the right answer for what your labs are showing.
Who do I contact about my order, shipping, or payment?
Optimal Balance Pharmacy, once a prescription has been sent. They bill you, ship your order, and hold the tracking. For anything else, email support@rxpepsdirect.com. A consultation is not the place to check on an order, and booking one will not make an order move faster.
Do I still pay for the medication?
Yes, directly to the pharmacy. Optimal Balance Pharmacy bills you their wholesale price and we take no markup on medication. RxPepsDirect only ever charges the consultation fee.
Will I definitely get a prescription?
No. A consultation does not guarantee a prescription. Dr. Snipes prescribes only when it is clinically appropriate for you, and we work exclusively with non-controlled peptide therapies.
Which states are consultations available in?
Consultations are available in 29 states. Telehealth rules require the doctor to be licensed in the state where you live, and the state checker on this page confirms your eligibility before you book.
How is this different from the $39 script flow?
The standard $39 flow is asynchronous: you build your own protocol, complete a health screening, and a licensed provider reviews it, usually within 24 hours. A consultation is live: you and Dr. Snipes build the protocol together in real time, and the $39 fee is included in the consultation price. If you already know exactly what you want, the $39 flow is faster and cheaper.
What happens after I book?
You receive a confirmation email with your video link right away. Before your visit we email you a secure health intake so Dr. Snipes can review your history ahead of time. You can join the video call from any phone or computer.
Can I reschedule or cancel?
Yes. Your confirmation email includes links to reschedule or cancel your booking.
Is this a subscription?
No. A consultation is a one-time visit with nothing recurring and nothing to cancel afterward.
