RxPepsDirect is a telehealth service that prescribes compounded peptides at pharmacy wholesale pricing. We charge a flat $39 visit fee for a licensed nurse practitioner or physician assistant to review your intake and write your prescription. Optimal Balance Pharmacy, a 503A compounding pharmacy in Texas, compounds and ships your medication directly to you. We do not mark up the medication.

We exist because the existing market has two extremes: research-grade peptides with no medical oversight, or concierge clinic pricing that puts legitimate access out of reach. RxPepsDirect is the middle path. The brand is operated by Peptide RX LLC and was founded in 2026.

Our pharmacy partner

Every RxPepsDirect prescription is compounded and dispensed by Optimal Balance Pharmacy, a 503A-compliant pharmacy in Texas. Optimal Balance maintains sterile compounding capability and contracts Eagle Analytical Services to test every batch independently for sterility and bacterial endotoxin. Every test report is published on our quality page.

We chose Optimal Balance after vetting multiple 503A pharmacies. Their leadership runs the operation as biohackers themselves, which means quality control, purity testing, and pricing are aligned with what patients actually need. The two companies operate as separate entities under a long-term supply relationship.

Why trust a 2026 brand

RxPepsDirect (rxpepsdirect.com) launched in 2026 as the fourth telehealth practice in founder Marcus Hansen’s portfolio. The operating team brings deep telehealth and clinical experience that long predates this brand.

Marcus Hansen, Founder and CEO. Marcus built Recovery Delivered pre-COVID after seeing what asynchronous telemedicine could do to lower healthcare costs for businesses and pass those savings to consumers. Recovery Delivered now treats more than 3,500 patients every month for opioid use disorder through DEA-licensed providers. He went on to found Cost Plus TRT, a low-cost testosterone replacement therapy practice. RxPepsDirect is the third brand in that portfolio. Marcus also previously spent over a decade as CEO of The Drug Rehab Agency, a consulting firm that worked with some of the largest addiction treatment centers in the United States.

Dr. Jonathan Snipes, MD, Medical Director. Dr. Snipes brings over 10 years of experience in the medical wellness space and the last 5 years focused on longevity medicine, including using the protocols he prescribes (alongside his wife). He is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (DAAAM), board-certified in Regenerative Medicine, a Fellow of the R3 Stem Cell Program, and certified in Peptide Therapy by the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. He holds active medical licensure in all 50 states. Dr. Snipes also serves as medical director for Cost Plus TRT, the related telehealth practice in the same portfolio, and separately serves as medical director for Mindglow Health, a longevity practice outside the portfolio.

  • Direct pharmacy pricing. We do not mark up your medication. You pay Optimal Balance Pharmacy at their wholesale rate. RxPepsDirect earns its margin only on the $39 visit fee.
  • $39 flat visit fee. One charge per order, up to 3 peptides per order. No subscription, no tiers.
  • In-house licensed providers. Our nurse practitioners and physician assistants are employed by RxPepsDirect. We are not a 1099 marketplace that sublets prescribing to whoever is cheapest.
  • Per-dose price transparency. Every product page lists the exact price for every dose strength. Most competitors hide this until checkout.

Compliance and safety

RxPepsDirect operates under the 503A patient-specific compounding pathway defined by Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. Every prescription is patient-specific, written by a licensed provider after a documented telehealth consultation, and dispensed by a state-licensed compounding pharmacy. We do not engage in bulk compounding or wholesale resale.

Are your peptides FDA-approved?
No. Compounded peptides dispensed by a 503A pharmacy are not FDA-approved drug products. They are legal under Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act when prescribed for an individual patient with documented medical necessity.

There is nothing to cancel. RxPepsDirect does not sell subscriptions or recurring plans. Each order is a one-time $39 visit fee. If you stop ordering, your account simply remains dormant. Your medical records are retained per HIPAA requirements and are accessible if you return.
Is RxPepsDirect compliant with state telehealth law?
Yes. RxPepsDirect providers hold active medical licenses in every state where they prescribe. The intake meets each state's asynchronous-telehealth standard for establishing the provider-patient relationship. Optimal Balance Pharmacy ships only into states where RxPepsDirect providers are licensed and where the pharmacy is registered to dispense. RxPepsDirect prescribes only non-controlled peptides; we do not prescribe DEA-controlled medications.
