Every batch of compounded peptide dispensed by Optimal Balance Pharmacy is independently tested by Eagle Analytical Services for bacterial endotoxin (USP <85>) and sterility (ScanRDI). The full set of test reports is published below — every lot, every result, every PDF.

Eagle Analytical Services Inc. is an independent contract testing laboratory based in Houston, Texas. They have served compounding pharmacies and pharmaceutical manufacturers since 2003.

Optimal Balance Pharmacy contracts Eagle Analytical to test every batch before it can be released for patient dispensing. Eagle has no commercial relationship with PeptideRx or with any specific patient outcome.

ScanRDI Sterility
Rapid microbial detection
Eagle Analytical’s ScanRDI method scans every batch for any viable microorganism. A “Pass” result means no organisms were detected. We do not release a batch with any sterility failure.
USP <85> Endotoxin
Bacterial endotoxin testing
The United States Pharmacopeia general chapter <85> sets the standard for measuring bacterial endotoxin in injectable products. Each result is reported as a numerical value in EU/mL against the regulatory limit. PeptideRx batches typically test at <2 EU/mL against limits of 375 to 400 EU/mL.
Optimal Balance Pharmacy compounds under USP <797> sterile compounding standards and assigns a Beyond Use Date (BUD) to every vial label per that standard. The BUD is also published on every product page.

- What is the USP <85> bacterial endotoxin test?

Each result includes a numerical value in EU/mL (endotoxin units per milliliter) and a regulatory limit. A "Pass" result means the sample is below the limit. - Are these results from independent testing?
- Yes. Eagle Analytical Services is a third-party laboratory contracted by Optimal Balance Pharmacy. Eagle has no commercial interest in the results of any specific batch. Their reports are submitted under the laboratory's own ISO 17025 accreditation.
- Can I get the report for the specific vial I received?
- Yes. Every PeptideRx vial is labeled with a lot number. Find your lot number on the page above and download the matching PDF, or contact support@rxpepsdirect.com with your lot number and we will send the report. Reports remain on file for the full Beyond Use Date period and longer.
- What does the relationship between PeptideRx, Optimal Balance, and Eagle Analytical look like?
- PeptideRx prescribes (operated by Peptide RX LLC). Optimal Balance Pharmacy compounds and dispenses (a 503A-licensed pharmacy in Houston, Texas).
