Eagle Analytical Services Inc. is an independent contract testing laboratory based in Houston, Texas. They have served compounding pharmacies and pharmaceutical manufacturers since 2003.

What we test against
USP <621> Potency
Strength, where assayed
Select batches receive a Potency assay under USP <621>, which measures the active ingredient in mg/mL against the label claim (the conventional passing range is 90 to 110 percent). Where a potency assay was run, the result is printed on that batch’s PDF. These reports cover sterility and endotoxin; they do not include an HPLC purity assay, so no purity percentage should be inferred from them.
ScanRDI Sterility
Rapid microbial detection
Eagle Analytical’s ScanRDI method scans every batch for any viable microorganism. A “Pass” result means no organisms were detected. We do not release a batch with any sterility failure.
USP <85> Endotoxin
Bacterial endotoxin testing
The USP general chapter <85> sets the standard for measuring bacterial endotoxin in injectable products. Each result is reported in EU/mL against the regulatory limit. RxPepsDirect batches typically test at <2 EU/mL against limits of 375 to 400 EU/mL.
Optimal Balance Pharmacy compounds under USP <797> sterile compounding standards and assigns a Beyond Use Date (BUD) to every vial label per that standard. The BUD is also published on every product page.
