Who tests these peptides?

Every batch is tested by Eagle Analytical Services Inc., an independent FDA-registered and DEA-registered laboratory accredited by A2LA to ISO 17025. Eagle is based in Houston, Texas. They have been the contracted testing partner of a licensed U.S. 503A compounding pharmacy since the program began.

What is the ScanRDI sterility test?

ScanRDI is a rapid microbial detection method that scans for any viable microorganism in the sample. A "Pass" result means no contaminating organisms were detected. Eagle Analytical holds international patents on the ScanRDI Oil Method (US 2019, Canada 2021, Australia 2022).

What is the Celsis sterility test?

Celsis is the other rapid microbial detection method Eagle Analytical uses for sterility testing, alongside ScanRDI. It uses ATP bioluminescence to detect microbial growth. A "Pass" result means no contaminating organisms were detected. Eagle selects the validated method appropriate to the batch and product type; either method satisfies USP sterility requirements.

What is the USP bacterial endotoxin test?

USP General Chapter is the United States Pharmacopeia standard for measuring bacterial endotoxin contamination in injectable products. Each result includes a numerical value in EU/mL (endotoxin units per milliliter) and a regulatory limit. A "Pass" result means the sample is below the limit. Rx Peps Direct batches typically test at less than 2 EU/mL against formulation-specific limits (most often 400 EU/mL, higher for some formulations), far below the regulatory threshold.

Are these results from independent testing?

Yes. Eagle Analytical Services is a third-party laboratory contracted by a licensed U.S. 503A compounding pharmacy. Eagle has no commercial interest in the results of any specific batch. Their reports are submitted under the laboratory's own ISO 17025 accreditation.

Can I get the report for the specific vial I received?

Yes. Every Rx Peps Direct vial is labeled with a lot number. Find your lot number on the page above and download the matching PDF, or contact support@rxpepsdirect.com with your lot number and we will send the report. Reports remain on file for the full Beyond Use Date period and longer.

What does the relationship between Rx Peps Direct, the pharmacy, and Eagle Analytical look like?

Rx Peps Direct prescribes (operated by Peptides RX LLC). A licensed U.S. 503A compounding pharmacy in Texas compounds the medication and ships it. Eagle Analytical Services tests every batch independently. Three separate companies, with Rx Peps Direct being the only one the patient interacts with directly.

Every report the pharmacy has shared with us is published below, newest first. USP <621> Potency

Strength, where assayed

Select batches receive a Potency assay under USP <621>, which measures the active ingredient in mg/mL against the label claim (the conventional passing range is 90 to 110 percent). Where a potency assay was run, the result is printed on that batch’s PDF. These reports cover sterility and endotoxin; they do not include an HPLC purity assay, so no purity percentage should be inferred from them.

Sterility (ScanRDI or Celsis)

Rapid microbial detection

Eagle Analytical scans every batch for any viable microorganism using ScanRDI or Celsis, two validated rapid methods. A “Pass” result means no organisms were detected. We do not release a batch with any sterility failure.

USP <85> Endotoxin

Bacterial endotoxin testing

The USP general chapter <85> sets the standard for measuring bacterial endotoxin in injectable products. Each result is reported in EU/mL against the regulatory limit. Rx Peps Direct batches typically test at <2 EU/mL against formulation-specific limits (most often 400 EU/mL, higher for some formulations).

The pharmacy compounds under USP <797> sterile compounding standards and assigns a Beyond Use Date (BUD) to every vial label per that standard. The BUD is also published on every product page.
