What the Combo Actually Is
Semax is a 7-amino-acid synthetic analog of the adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) fragment ACTH(4-10), modified for CNS stability. It is approved in Russia for cognitive recovery after stroke and for cognitive impairment. The nootropic and neuroprotective effects come from upregulation of BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factor) and modulation of dopaminergic and serotonergic signaling.
Selank is a 7-amino-acid synthetic analog of the immunomodulatory peptide tuftsin, designed for CNS stability. It is approved in Russia for generalized anxiety disorder. The anxiolytic effect comes from GABA-A signaling modulation through gene expression rather than direct receptor agonism, which is why it does not produce sedation, tolerance, or dependence.

Will it feel like Adderall?
No. Semax produces a focus signal but not the catecholamine surge of amphetamines. There is no jitter, no appetite suppression, and no crash. Effect is quieter and more sustained.
