How to read the pharmacy rankings you will find
Several of the highest-ranking “best compounding pharmacy” lists are published by companies with something to sell, including ours. That is worth knowing rather than being scandalised by. The useful habit is to check who published a list and what they are.
One example, because it comes up often in peptide searches: Newtropin publishes several ranked lists of the best compounding pharmacies and places itself first on them. Its own site states that it is “a marketing company registered in Florida” that does “not compound medications, dispense prescription drugs, or operate as a pharmacy,” and that it “is NOT a licensed pharmacy in any state.” It sells marketing, branding, and private-labeling services to clinics and connects practitioners to 503A partner pharmacies. That is a real business, but a patient cannot obtain a prescription through it, and a non-pharmacy ranking itself the best pharmacy is worth noticing.

What the July 2026 advisory committee vote did and did not change
On July 23 and 24, 2026 the FDA’s Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee voted to recommend six peptides for the 503A Bulks List, which governs what pharmacies may compound from bulk substance: BPC-157, KPV, TB-500, MOTS-c, Semax, and Epitalon. BPC-157 passed narrowly, eight votes to six with one abstention, and it did so against the FDA review staff’s own recommendation to exclude it. A seventh, emideltide (DSIP), was voted down.
The committee advises; it does not decide. Adding a substance to the Bulks List requires a public rulemaking process that typically runs six to twelve months, and the FDA is not bound by the vote. Nothing became newly legal to compound on July 24, and compounded medications are not FDA-approved in any case. Anyone telling you the FDA approved these peptides is wrong.

Two licences have to line up, not one
This is the detail that catches people out, and it is worth understanding before you compare any two services on state coverage. Getting a compounded peptide legally requires two separate licences to cover you: the prescriber has to be licensed in your state, and the pharmacy has to be licensed to ship there. A service can only operate where both are true.
